About DJANGO

Django is a dream on 3 wheels
Born many years ago, in the streets of Procida isle, where I spent the summers as a child
and where, sometimes During parties and fairs,
A van with a megaphone
Appeared
announcing the arrival of the C ircus and the Moon Travellers,
the C arnies.
I'd have stayed whole days in that maze of rails and mechanical arms, between big tents and traveling houses.
How can you not fall in love as a child with those strange characters halfway between magic and the divine curse?
Creatures able to sell you the thrill of the party, the illusion of lights and colors,
the fleeting joy of the suspension of time,
of a world upside down, light years away from everyday life ...
One day the Idea began to take shape in my hands:
A wooden wagon made entirely by hand in my workshop, pulled by a '62 moto Guzzi,
Self-sufficientlyilluminated and amplified thanks to a generator,
and then a stage for live performances and a wooden platform for dancing.
In the blink of an eye, on a Sunday many years ago, I was in a town square
with the streets illuminated and full of people dressed up for the party,
LISTENING TO the notes of a cheerful melody played by the orchestra, couples of dancers
that crowded the track between the laughter and games of the children,
late into the night.
Then I saw the carriage from Tarantino's film and the name also came:
DJANGO
Since then my dream has been to bring music, dance and traveling shows
in towns and cities, in squares and natural Environments, and seeing my same wonder and amazement in everyone's eyes,
adults and children.
